Molly and Evan // Wedding

"Among those whom I like or admire, I can find no common denominator, but among those whom I love, I can: all of them make me laugh." — W. H. Auden

Sports are a great outlet in life, they can teach us responsibility, respect, teamwork and a number of other life lessons. For Molly and Evan, volleyball is not just a sport but it is part of who they are, it lives deep in them and it is something that has shaped and transformed their lives in many ways. From playing to coaching; volleyball is never far from either of them, but little did they know this sport they love would bring them to an even great love; each other.

My husband and I are lucky enough to know Molly and Evan personally. My husband also loves volleyball, and in Dayton the volleyball world is all kinds of intertwined and everyone kind of knows everyone else. So about a year ago, Jon invited Evan and Molly to the Taste of Cincinnati with us and from there our friendship with them just kind of blossomed. Over the last year we have celebrated birthdays together, we have enjoyed some amazing meals, toasted new jobs which brought with it a move across the country (we were not super pumped about this one) and they loved on our son from the second they met him; Evan and Molly are the real deal.

So when they asked me to photograph the wedding I jumped at the chance because I knew it was going to be something special and gosh was it. Molly and Evan got married on May 26, 2018 surrounded by friends and family who wanted nothing more then to simply share in the joy these two people have for life, friendship, family and each other. Molly and Evan are two of the most genuine and kind people you will ever meet; Evan can tell a story and make you feel like you were truly part of the experience and Molly is able to reel Evan back in when he has gone to deep down a rabbit trail. They are truly the perfect compliment to each other. So in true Molly and Evan fashion their wedding had no shortage of love and laughter.

Cheers to you Molly and Evan, Jon and I love you both and we were so honored to stand next to you and capture your wedding day. I already miss you and can’t wait to come explore Texas with you! We pray you have a life full of adventure, love and of course volleyball.
