My husband and I thrive on friendships; we thrive in relating to other people and we are so thankful for the people the Lord has placed into our lives since we moved to Kettering after college. Tim and Jenna are some of those people. Tim and Jenna were part of our first house church when we started attending church in Kettering. We have had the joy of seeing them transition from newlyweds (they got married just a few weeks before us) to parents to be, to parents of two beautiful boys. I personally have had the joy of capturing so many of their life changes through photography and this session was no less sweet.
Tim and Jenna are consistent, adventurous and patient parents. They speak to their children with such love and care. They allow them to explore and learn while still guiding and shepherding them toward the Lord. They full enbody the verse from Deuteronomy 6 that says:
And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
They desire to raise their children in the way of the Lord and they take every chance to shepherd and guide them in that way.
We are no longer in House Church with Tim and Jenna but I am very glad our friendship with them has continued; they have been an encouragement to Jon and I as new parents. Tim and Jenna, know Jon and I are praying for you, that you would see your children come to know the lord and walk with him all the days of their lives.
