Fall Mini Sessions

Fall is always a busy season between weddings and family sessions, seniors and engagement sessions, this time of year just seems to pass right by me. This year not only did I have all those things on the calendar but my husband and I are also doing quite a bit of traveling. In order to enjoy this season with my family, something needed to give. I had done some surveys on social media and had gathered some information on dates that might work for Mini sessions but nothing fell into place, so I had decided to just skip them this year. I had just posted that I would not be holding minis this year when a farmer in Miamisburg reached out to me and offered up his farm to me for sessions. It was almost comical how quickly the message came through after I had decided not to hold the mini sessions, but when someone offers up land you consider it. So after talking the with the farm, I posted a date and had ALL spots filled in just a few days!

Warrick Farms is a family farm out in Miamisburg, it is a beautiful piece of land with wildflowers, livestock and meadows. Each fall the family opens their land up to the public for hayrides, pumpkin picking and a petting farm. And it was an honor to have them open up their land to me. I took my son there the weekend before the session to scope it out and he had a blast petting the animals, playing in a giant corn box, playing on an old tractor and walking around the property. It is definitely a place I will take him back to next year and hopefully return again for more session in the future.

Thanks to my families that weathered the unseasonably warm temperatures for these “fall” minis. You all have beautiful families who I hope I captured all for you. It is always a joy to capture families, to share in their bond and to capture this season in their lives on camera, and these families here are some beautiful ones!
