I am always over joyed when families I have worked with in the past ask me to come back. This family might be one of my favorites. As I walked into their home for the fourth time to take pictures I almost felt like I was growing up with them. I have been taking pictures of them since before their daughter Audi was born and now here I am taking her first birthday pictures. It was fun to talk to Liz and Ryan about how Audi has changed since her newborn pictures and how we could see her little face reflected in those newborn pictures.
Liz and Ryan are some of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of working with. They are always so welcoming to me and to my ideas. They always want me to be comfortable and yet still hold conversation with me throughout the sessions, asking about my students (I am also a teacher) and my husband. Over the course of the last few years, I feel like we have been able to invest more in each other through just taking pictures; we have build a friendship and for that I am so thankful.
